What is the message that Turkey is trying to send is not so clear at this point.
Many seem to talk a lot about China’s economic presence in Africa. But,Turkey’s presence,especially in east Africa, does not seem to get noticed at all. In Ethiopia alone, Turkey has numerous investments – not to mention strong cultural presence.

Photographer Çağan Şekercioğlu says that he shot this video of Rare Black-Maned Lion leaning from a car window in a very close distance at Bale National Park in South Ethiopia.
Black-Maned Lion is national symbol and appears in Ethiopian currency. It was also a palace pet during the reign of Emperor Haileselassie.

Activists & family celebrated today Andargachew Tsige’s birthday in London. He was abducted from Yemen by Semeni security agents and handed over to the regime in Ethiopia -apparently in exchange for millions of dollars.
Court in Ethiopia, and courts are not independent, sentenced him to death in absentia under trumped up charges of terrorism.
It has been more than two years since he was captured and no family member is allowed to date to visit him.

Perhaps something that you would not expect from Donald Trump. In a speech, at the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, on February 2, he told the crowed “America is a nation of believers.”Emphasized is importance of spirituality.
“In towns all across our land, it is plain to see what we so easily forget;so easily we forget this that the quality of our lives is not defined by our material success but by our spiritual success. I will tell you that and I tell you that from somebody that has had material success and knows tremendous numbers of people with great material success. Many of those people are very very miserable,unhappy people…” Said Trump.
His policy measures including anti-immigration one distinguished him,it seems the case,perhaps as the most unpopular president already. In light of that, it is imaginable that the last thing people want to hear about could be Trump.
But this specific speech of Donald Trump,to his credit,assuming that it truly reflects his feeling,is laded with words common among motivational speakers,healers,spiritual leaders -from all religious traditions -, and philosophers. And it is true. As a person,he said it, with material success and acquaintances with other wealthy people, the likelihood of familiarity with misery in the ocean of material wealth and affluence is real. That is why his words need not be ignored just because they are words of hated president.
Whether his views will influence social policy in posterity is something that remains to be seen.

It happened in Ghana. A family was unable to pay about $9 in mortuary fees and decided to remove coffin from it. The reaction of mortuary attendants was truly disgusting. They appeared during the funeral procession and took teh corps out of the coffin. The story is published today by RT.
While in the video above men are seen carrying corps,in the video below a man is seen taking a video of the incident with smart phone.
This is a shock not just to Africa but humanity. What is more saddening is that the instinct was rather to take smart phone video shots rather than stopping mortuary attendants from taking it. What more can show the level of moral corruption and dehumanization of man?
