Major Mesafint Tigabu studied for two year in Paris and lived in Luxemberg before he decided to join rebel forces based along Ethio-Eritrean border.
His dream was free,democratic and prosperous Ethiopia. A country whose youth will no longer long for leaving it behind by any means necessary.
He dreamed freedom. He lived free while pursuing his goal and he died free – fighting for the freedom of Ethiopians.
More importantly, he did not give Tigray People Liberation Front forces the joy of capturing or killing him. ESAT’s report point to the direction that Mesafint Tigabu ended his own life after realizing that the regime forces encircled the group he was leading.
