Let. General Abebaw Tadesse was recently recalled from imposed early retirement to lead the military operation against TPLF leaders in Tigray.
The army he is leading has controlled a number of towns in the western part of Tigray, and is currently part of the operation besieging Mekelle.
He had a brief interview with state media, Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation. Check out what he had to say about TPLF junta and the war he is leading.
