On the occasion of one year anniversary of his Prime Pinistership , Abiy Ahmed made a speech to tens of thousands of crowds packed at the Millennium Hall in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia’s capital.
In his speech, he talked about the difficulty of undertaking reform measures under circumstances of unreformed institutions, about the challenges in connection with the rule of law, working on permanent solutions to support internally displaced people and about next year’s national election.
Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed also asked Ethiopians apology for whatever is not achieved during his leadership in the last 12 months. It was because of, he said, either circumstance and/or unawareness.
